The typical lower limit is 2.1%, and the usual higher limit is 5.6%. The highest amount of tolualdehydes (mixed o,m,p) we encountered in any single formula is 6.3%, and the lowest was 0.25%.
Please note that according to the IFRA Standard Category 4, the level of tolualdehydes (mixed o,m,p) should not exceed 0.47% of the final product. Assuming that you will be using your formula for an alcoholic perfume at a 10% dilution, this means you should only use tolualdehydes (mixed o,m,p) at 4.7% or less of the formula.
