The statistical data we collected from 20 public perfume formulas suggests that the mean dose for lime oil distilled mexico is 2.3%. The typical lower limit is 1.1%, and the usual higher limit is 4.5%. The highest amount of lime oil distilled mexico we encountered in any single formula is 15%, and the lowest was 0.050%.
Please note that according to the IFRA Standard Category 4, the level of lime oil distilled mexico should not exceed 0.70% of the final product. Assuming that you will be using your formula for an alcoholic perfume at a 10% dilution, this means you should only use lime oil distilled mexico at 7.0% or less of the formula.
