The statistical data we collected from 18 public perfume formulas suggests that the mean dose for laevo-citronellol is 2.1%. The typical lower limit is 1.5%, and the usual higher limit is 6.4%. The highest amount of laevo-citronellol we encountered in any single formula is 15%, and the lowest was 0.030%.
Please note that according to the IFRA Standard Category 4, the level of laevo-citronellol should not exceed 12% of the final product. Assuming that you will be using your formula for an alcoholic perfume at a 10% dilution, this means you should only use laevo-citronellol at 120% or less of the formula.
