The statistical data we collected from 14 public perfume formulas suggests that the mean dose for laevo-carvone is 0.55%. The typical lower limit is 0.25%, and the usual higher limit is 4.2%. The highest amount of laevo-carvone we encountered in any single formula is 10%, and the lowest was 0.012%.
Please note that according to the IFRA Standard Category 4, the level of laevo-carvone should not exceed 0.59% of the final product. Assuming that you will be using your formula for an alcoholic perfume at a 10% dilution, this means you should only use laevo-carvone at 5.9% or less of the formula.
