The typical lower limit is 0.10%, and the usual higher limit is 0.50%. The highest amount of 2,4-ivy carbaldehyde we encountered in any single formula is 6.9%, and the lowest was 0.0050%.
Please note that according to the IFRA Standard Category 4, the level of 2,4-ivy carbaldehyde should not exceed 2.5% of the final product. Assuming that you will be using your formula for an alcoholic perfume at a 10% dilution, this means you should only use 2,4-ivy carbaldehyde at 25% or less of the formula.
