The statistical data we collected from 25 public perfume formulas suggests that the mean dose for treemoss absolute is 1.5%. The typical lower limit is 0.56%, and the usual higher limit is 2.5%. The highest amount of treemoss absolute we encountered in any single formula is 5.0%, and the lowest was 0.28%.
Please note that according to the IFRA Standard Category 4, the level of treemoss absolute should not exceed 0.10% of the final product. Assuming that you will be using your formula for an alcoholic perfume at a 10% dilution, this means you should only use treemoss absolute at 1.0% or less of the formula.
